This is great in that I followed directions and got it to work but agree with Ken that the screen is still “off” on my Centro. Anyone have an idea how to adjust this? This rocks and thanks for figuring this out.

Cool. I got the smaller creen, but it’s still pretty wonky-lookin’. I tried all the other combinations of settings I could see, but nothing smoothed it out…..

Really appreciate your help – it’s guys like you that make the internet great. What I have is still not perfect, but it’s a step in the fight direction, and I wouldn’t have gotten there on my own! Zaib for prez!

@kenblakely, to get smaller screen go to preferences -> JVM (under “other” section) -> check “Use high resolution coordinates”. Also, I set max memory to 8Mb and Thread Stack Size to 16Kb.

Sorry guys, but Palm is no longer supporting the JVM download. Palm’s website claims that gmail can be downloaded with Versamail, but if that’s true, I certainly can’t get it to work….

Do you know if anyone has created a PRC of the Gmail for Apps java app? I had one that worked great on my Treo 600 and displayed well on my Centro. I could link buttons to it since it was a PRC app.

So far I haven’t gotten the jar type app to work well on the Centro.
